A little Giveaway...

Not mine, but a local friend who makes great bows just started a FB page for her business, CheekyBabyBoutique. She has a fun giveaway, so if you're on Facebook, go and take a look! All you have to do is put in a guess for how many korker ribbons are in this photo. (I picked 109, so no stealing my guess!) :)

(DO NOT ENTER HERE- YOU HAVE TO DO IT ON HER FACEBOOK PAGE.)

Also, if you're in the market for ribbons, check out her etsy store. CheekyBabyBoutique She's made a few bows for me, and they are great! (And super reasonably priced!) Super cute little Halloween or Thanksgiving ones too!

Giveaway!

~This giveaway is closed~

I wanted to say "I'm Sorry!" for my long time away from the blog. Nothing special happened, just the usual summer business. I've also been working a ton on trying to get some products painted for my website. I'm offering a few different giveaways on a few different blogs within the next few weeks, so I wanted it to be in tip-top shape for those. See, nothing important. :)

Anyway, right in time for back to school, I thought I would offer a fun little creation I made yesterday- a new style of hairbow holder! It's 5x7, and can be painted in any style or design! So here's the rules for the giveaway:

1. Post a comment
2. Post about my giveaway on Facebook
3. Post about the giveaway on your Blog
4. Post a comment about the hairstyle you're planning for the first day of school (I know I'm already thinking about it!) :)
5. Post a comment with a celebrity hairstyle idea. (That's going to be a fun continuation of the series I started a while ago.)

*Leave a SEPARATE comment for each one so you have a total of 5 comments if you do all 5 things.

The giveaway will start now, and will end in a week- next Tuesday at 9AM PST.

We have a Winner!

So let me just tell you- today has been a day and a half! We cleaned out the toy room, did about 10 loads of laundry (they are still waiting to be folded and put away though) had our cousin over to play all day, and played in the snow/hail (yes, in Las Vegas- it lasted about 10 minutes.)

To top it all off, Emma decided that she'd like to try sleeping in her own room tonight. She and Michael have shared a room their whole lives, so it's a big deal. Plus, it's downstairs when all the rest of us are upstairs, so that makes it a double big deal! I'm not sure if I would have been that brave at 6. :)

Anyway, the drawing! Yehoo! Congrats to lucky number 33! Email me and we'll talk about the design of your bow holder. :)

Also, For any of you who are interested, I had a couple of emails asking about buying one and what the cost would be. I have the letters on my website, Kids Room Creations- so if you let me know, I'd be happy to make any letter (I'd suggest at least the 8") into a bow holder with the extra ribbon for free. Plus, use the code 'Redpunzel' for free shipping!

New Years Giveaway!

Happy New Year everyone!

We had a much to quiet new years last night- my parents took Emma and Michael for the weekend, so we are now down to two not-so-noisy kids. It was a little strange. The husband and I rang in the New Year in true party style- laying in bed watching a movie and doing hobbies! (Living in Las Vegas all of my life I have not once spent it on the Strip- we did watch the fireworks on the news though!) :)

Anyway, my hobby of choice last night was making a few of these super cute flower clips!

As I was making one for each of the kids, I thought, "What a great giveaway!" And then I thought, "CRAP! My last giveaway!" I had gotten so caught up in holiday ordering from my other life that I completely forgot about painting my hairbow holder for the winner of the last giveaway. I'm sure she thinks I'm a total flake now! Sorry!

So here's the giveaway- simply post about one of the following:
1. Your new years resolution. (mine are always the same, organizing, getting healthier, and having more fun with the kids.)
2. A good organizing tip for kids rooms (clothes and socks/shoes are my nemesis at the moment)
3. A suggestion on how I can improve my blog over the new year.

That's it! Post away! (Up to three entries per day if you post about each thing!) I'll send pick-o-the-reader one cute flower hairclip! *Giveaway ends on Sunday at 12:00 PST Tell your friends! Neighbors! Strangers! :)

I'm off to the antique store this afternoon for a fun day of furniture finding. I've got a mission to refinish some great piece. I'll keep you updated. :)
