It starts out with one center braid, and two side braids, braided all the way down to the ends of the hair. Then I had Emma lay on her tummy while I did one bigger braid going up the back of her head, again braiding all the way to the ends.
I then took all of the braids and banded them together in a ponytail.
Then twisted the braids and used rubber bands to secure them into a cute little twisty bun.
On a side note, anyone need some help on Halloween hairstyles? I'm going to start trying out some do's here in a bit, and would like for them to be beneficial to someone.
Emma's going to be Medusa. She wanted to be something scary this year, so that is what we thought of. (They saw her in Percy Jackson.) I'm planning some wired braids and I'm going to make some little snake heads from the foam air-dry clay so they'll be nice and light to attach to the ends. :)
SO cute!!
ReplyDeleteadorable!
ReplyDeleteI like all the french braids!
ReplyDeleteAnd I can't wait to see your Halloween hair style- it sounds like it's going to be really neat!
This is such a fun style! For Madusa, try using wire in the hair and twist/rope braids so you can make them all crazy. (Also you can attach the snake heads to the wire) I can't wait to see it!
