So I know the momma over at
Adopt a Do just posted a similar video, but I've been waiting for the right time to do this video, and this morning was it. (Emma is sick, so pardon her not so happy expression.)
Anyway, here's a really simple video on how to curl with a flat iron. Any questions, just let me know! :)

Call me crazy, I didn't know you could do that with a flat iron. I thought I could only straighten. I'm gonna go try that out.
ReplyDeleteI am so glad you did this video. People have tried to explain to me how to do it...but I have to see someone do it to learn how. Thanks Rach!! What do you think about sponge curlers??? Do they give you those cute little ringletts too?? Just curious.
ReplyDeleteJenny,
ReplyDeleteI can't ever get sponge curlers to make a nice wringlet-type curl; especially when Emma sleeps in them. (I usually end up just pulling it all up into a ponytail, which kind of defeats the purpose of putting them in. ANYWAY, I highly suggest checking out Curlformers- I'll do a post about them soon, but I L-O-V-E them. Super great curls that last a long time. They've got long ones and short ones, and Emma sleeps in them with no complaining. Anyway, just my $.02 :)
I LOVE how thrilled Emma looks. :)
ReplyDeleteDo you know if they make itty bitty curlformers? I think theys hould because I want to see if they'd work in Gracie's hair.
I'm not sure about tiny ones- my sister bought some that are thinner and shorter than the ones we have (long, and about 1") They really are great though- totally worth the money (They are pricey for anyone else reading- about $20 for two sets (12 curlers total) and the little hook thing.
ReplyDeleteThanks for posting this video!! I think I finally understood how to make the curls. I´ll try that ASAP!
